There is a lid that can be used to cover the sandbox, to protect the sand from rain and wind, but that lid can also be placed next to the sandbox for an additional play area. The sandbox holds up to 300 pounds of sand, and measures 64.5” long, 47.5” wide, and 13.5” tall. Empty, it weighs about 48 pounds. The construction sandbox is suitable for children aged three and up.
